Back To School Essentials

Updated: Aug 10, 2020

It’s time to start preparing for back to school but this school year is already challenging. COVID 19 has so many asking if I should keep my child home or send them to a classroom.

No matter what you decide it is important to build a safe clean environment and a healthy immune system.

I want to share with you what We are doing for our 3 kids this school year. I will also share with you how essential oils can help alleviate stress, not only for you but for the kiddos, as well. We have to remember this is hard on them too! We will discuss some stress relievers, anxiety busters, ways to help with sleep, immune builders, respiratory help, and digestive support. Let's get started!

Stress Talk

I believe we all deal with stress on some level. This year we will have all 3 kids at home for the start of the school year and I am not sure how this will affect us all.

I believe maintaining a routine will be helpful, a daily exercise routine, adding a healthy balanced diet, and a few drops of a stress-relieving essential oil in their diffuser will help maintain a peaceful environment.

Let's Talk Essential Oils.

Lavender essential oil

  • It is commonly used for stress, anxiety, and insomnia.

  • Muscle relaxer

  • Antibacterial and antifungal

We all need a good night's rest. Diffuse 3 drops of lavender oil and 3 drops of Cedarwood oil at bedtime for a great night of sleep. If you do not have a diffuser, then you can apply 2 drops of Lavender oil and 2 drops of Cedarwood oil with a carrier oil like coconut oil to the bottom of the feet or back of the neck.

Diffusing essential oils trigger the limbic system, which is the part of the brain that deals with emotion, memory, and feelings. Applying essential oils gets into the bloodstream.
